How ToolInventory handles information

This policy explains the information ToolInventory may process when you use the website, app, accounts, purchases, cloud features, and optional add-ons.
Information we process
Depending on the features you use, this may include account information such as your email address, inventory information you enter, app preferences, basic device or usage information, and records needed to provide purchased features.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. ToolInventory does not need to store your full payment-card number. Stripe may process payment and billing information under its own privacy terms.
Cloud and service providers
When cloud-connected features are enabled, information required to provide those features may be stored or processed by service providers used to operate ToolInventory, including hosting, database, authentication, analytics, and payment services.
How information is used
Information is used to operate and improve ToolInventory, provide requested features, maintain accounts and purchases, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse, and communicate about support or transactions.
Sharing and retention
Information is not sold as part of ToolInventory's business model. Information may be shared with service providers when necessary to operate the service or when required by law. Records are retained as reasonably necessary for the service, security, accounting, and legal obligations.
Your choices
You may contact us about access, correction, or deletion of account information, subject to information we must retain for legal, security, or transaction-record requirements.
